Connecting with Country + Community Engagement
As an Indigenous architectural practice, we start with Traditional Custodians and their story of place. For us, the Connecting with Country process is an essential part of the project brief which most often drives our design thinking and project outcomes in exciting and authentic ways.
We offer both Connecting with Country and Designing with Country under the same roof. The outcome of this direct process ensures genuine and meaningful designs are realised rather than tokenistic responses.
The two are inseparable—producing not only wonderful spaces and places but often saving time and cost due to the efficiencies this brings.

We sensitively translate Indigenous knowledge into meaningful design by moving at the speed of trust.

Our engagement team is lead by Wiradjuri Architect Craig Kerslake.
“I have three key drivers: to meaningfully and respectfully embed Aboriginal stories into the built environment; to create opportunities for First Nations designers; and to contribute to the broader conversation about reconciliation in Australia.”
